Our Pastor: Dr. Alan Fong
Alan Fong was saved in 1971 out of a Roman Catholic background. Since that moment, God has been working in his life for His glory and honor. Although not formally trained for the pastoral role, he was trained in most aspects of the local church as he served in multiple ministry capacities and was often the "fill-in" preacher while serving as a faithful layman in the church. In addition, he has been privileged to be mentored by several strong Baptist pastors and leaders.

Pastor Fong was among the core membership that helped in the planting of Heritage Baptist Church in January 1999. After the founding pastor announced his desire to return overseas as a missionary, the church ultimately called Pastor Fong in November 2004 as its senior pastor. The heartbeat of Pastor Fong's ministry is a consuming passion to reach the people of the San Francisco Bay Area with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. He loves pastoring God's people, serving others, and making a world-wide impact through annual missions trips.

Under Pastor Fong's leadership, the church has experienced strong and consistent growth in all facets of ministry. The church is being strategically prepared for its next level of growth, which includes the planting of local churches throughout the Bay Area. Another strong focus is training up the next generation of servant leaders who could serve in areas of ministry and world-wide missions. The church just completed its second building program of a multi-million dollar educational building that will help serve the needs of a growing church.

Pastor Fong has been married to his wife, Grace, for over 35 years. They have two daughters, Carise and Tiffany, who are actively serving in the church. Their son, Justin, serves as an assistant to the pastor in the church.
